Loopday Labs Private Limited Refund Policy

Effective date: November 11, 2025

This Refund Policy describes how refunds and cancellations are handled for purchases made for the Loopday mobile application (the "App") and related services provided by Loopday Labs Private Limited ("Loopday", "we", "us" or "our"). It applies to purchases made through the App (Apple App Store / Google Play), through our website, or other authorized payment channels.

1. Scope & key principles
  • Platform-specific rules apply. Purchases made through Apple or Google are primarily governed by their payment and refund systems; Loopday can assist but may not be able to directly issue refunds for platform-billed purchases.

  • Fairness and transparency. We aim to handle legitimate refund requests promptly and fairly.

  • No abuse. Repeated refund requests that indicate abuse or fraud may result in denial of refunds and account suspension.

2. Types of purchases covered
  • Subscriptions (auto-renewing): recurring monthly or annual Loopday subscriptions.

  • One-time purchases / upgrades: lifetime upgrades, add-ons, or one-off paid features.

  • In-app consumables: single-use items purchased inside the App (if any).

  • Promotional offers / free trials: time-limited promotions or trial periods offered by Loopday.

3. Purchases via Apple App Store
  • Refunds and cancellations for purchases made through Apple’s in-app purchase system are governed by Apple. Users should request refunds directly through Apple’s Report a Problem portal or via their Apple ID purchase history.

  • Loopday assistance: Email hello@onloopday.com with details (Apple receipt, date, and reason). We will provide supporting information to Apple where possible but cannot bypass Apple’s refund process.

4. Purchases via Google Play
  • Refunds and cancellations for purchases made through Google Play are governed by Google. Users can request refunds through the Google Play Help Center or their order history within Google Play.

  • Loopday assistance: Email hello@onloopday.com with your Google order ID, date, and reason for the request. We will assist but cannot directly refund Google charges unless Google issues a refund or grants us that ability.

5. Purchases via our website or direct payments (Stripe or other processors)
  • Loopday-issued refunds: For purchases processed directly by Loopday via third-party processors (Stripe or similar), we can issue refunds at our discretion and subject to the rules below.

  • Timeframe: Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days of approval, and the refund posting time depends on your payment provider and bank.

  • Proration: If you request cancellation in the middle of a subscription period, we may offer a prorated refund or credit at our discretion unless local consumer law requires otherwise.

6. Free trials and promotional periods
  • Free trials: If you signed up for a free trial and cancel before the trial expires, you will not be charged. Requests to refund charges after a trial that was used are evaluated case-by-case.

  • Promotional / discounted purchases: Purchases made at a promotional price are refundable under the same rules, but the refunded amount will match the actual amount paid.

7. Eligibility & common refund reasons

We may approve refunds for reasons including (but not limited to):

  • Duplicate charges or accidental multiple purchases.

  • Charges for subscriptions that you did not authorize.

  • Severe technical issues that prevent you from using paid features and which we cannot reasonably resolve within a short timeframe.

  • Billing errors.

We generally will not refund for:

  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse after having used the service for a significant period.

  • Differences in expectation of app features if those features were accurately described.

  • Failure to cancel a subscription prior to the next billing cycle (you are responsible for timely cancellation).

8. Chargebacks and disputes
  • If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first contacting Loopday, we may temporarily suspend your account pending the outcome.

  • If a chargeback is reversed in Loopday's favor, you may be liable for the original charge plus any associated fees. Repeated chargebacks may result in account termination.

9. How to request a refund
  1. Email hello@onloopday.com with:

    • Your full name and account email.

    • Proof of purchase (receipt/order ID).

    • Date of purchase.

    • A clear explanation of the reason for the refund request.

  2. Our team will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and investigate.

  3. We will aim to provide a final decision within 14 business days of receiving your complete request.

  4. If approved, refund timing depends on the payment processor and your bank.

10. Tax, currency, and fees
  • Refunds will match the currency and amount charged at the time of purchase, excluding any third-party fees charged by payment processors that are non-refundable.

  • Taxes applied at the time of purchase will be refunded to the extent permitted by law and processor policies.

11. Data retention after refunds or cancellations
  • If you cancel a subscription or receive a refund, your account data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy. We may retain certain information for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Exceptional circumstances
  • In extraordinary situations (e.g., platform-wide outages, security incidents, or clear evidence of system error), Loopday may offer goodwill refunds or credits at our discretion.

13. Consumer rights
  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. Where local law provides stronger protections, those will apply.
